Understanding Ingots
Ingots are the foundational NFTs of the Crypto Ingots ecosystem. Each Ingot represents a specific denomination of value on a particular blockchain network. Think of them as digital bars of precious metal—each one unique, valuable, and ready to be put to work.
Ingots come in various denominations and can be minted on multiple chains. The denomination of your Ingot directly affects how many Nuggets it produces when staked. A 10 ETH Ingot will produce more Nuggets than a 1 ETH Ingot, scaled by the chain's power multiplier.
How Staking Works
Staking in The Foundry is simple yet powerful. When you stake an Ingot, it begins producing Nuggets based on a straightforward formula:
Daily Nuggets = Ingot Denomination × Chain Power
Your staked Ingots accumulate Nuggets continuously. You can claim these Nuggets at any time or let them accumulate for larger claims. When you unstake an Ingot, all accumulated Nuggets are automatically claimed to your balance.
The beauty of The Foundry is its flexibility—stake and unstake whenever you want, with no lock-up periods or penalties. Your Ingots remain yours, and you maintain full control.
